I just got off the phone with room reservations at the GSR (Grand Sierra Resort). With some nudging from my event sales manager, I think, they offered us the use of the Reno Chamber of Commerce discount, which allows you to get their Tier 1 discount rate of only $85/night midweek rate (currently $129-$149) and 20% off weekend rates (currently $199 for Fri and $219 for Sat). On top of that, NO RESORT FEE (currently $45.17/night). You can also get 20% off all resort restaurants and stores (must have an Infinity Rewards card and stop by the rewards desk to get a special sticker). Free early check-in, free late check out. Free parking. Free airport shuttle. And more (see flyer).

Directions: You must send EMAIL to BusinessTravel@grandsierraresort.com and tell them you want the RENO CHAMBER rate and tell them the nights you want to stay. It's ok to tell them you're coming for the Reno Collectibles Show, but you must tell them you want the RENO CHAMBER rate to get this deal. I'm told you can also call the number on the flyer, but some staff don't know about all the discount rates and messages left can fall through the cracks. Olivia strongly suggests sending an email as your initial contact.
