Great post! Can this be printed in our club newsletter? We need to inform people of this guy. I remember mainly the thunderbird first issue incident as I found those! I remember also Rene misrepresenting those- but he is a another issue! I did find those, about 620 didn't count the other misc. stack & check that all boxes contained exactly 100 so never had a definitive number. As soon as I saw what Dean was doing I luckily was able to inform some of my customers in time. We dont need people getting burned & then burned out on our fun hobby.
As soon as I see a chip that is Dean's I stop & go on as I just couldn't lower myself to buying his chips I could never trust his "to good to be true" auctions
I guess someday Dean will burn himself out but he has osmeone supplying him with chips all the time. Is someone consigning to him, I wonder who? Must be John M! I rarely read the board but all this was interesting. Thanks to Andy, Rich & the other good guys who let it be known about people like Dean! SInce the Sands was a previous topic I will mention something there too. I was able to reach one guy & tell him the chip isnt worth much (I think more like $10 as what they are bringing on ebay before he & other guys got into it) when he was at $89.77. He decided to keep beating the other guy! He told me why. Just a vengeance! I bet we see lots of this chip in the next few days now! Maybe all 50,000. This number Sands told me was for all the 3 $1's they sold out that were on hand.
