... but you posts and attitude don't make any good sense. You say, "I have been burned by several dealers at the convention. So should I stop going to the convention." That's like saying, "I've been burned by several eBay dealers so I should stop using eBay." If that's the only way you can figure out to protect yourself, fine, but that's not the point of this thread.
The point is that if there are dealers at the convention that consistently burn people, and you know that they burn people, and lots of other people will tell you they burn people, and they consistently refuse to do the right thing when confronted, then they deserved to be shunned. At the convention. On eBay. And anyplace else you have an opportunity to not do business with them.
But you obviously don't get the point, and won't ever get the point, since you can't tell the difference between the format and the abusers, or the difference between blatantly dishonest auctions and two uninformed bidders getting carried away on a perfectly honest auction.
I obviously can't help you, John. I only hope enough people do get the point and spread the word that it eventually gets driven home to Dean... cheaters are losers.
