NCR: Anybody read mysteries on your Kindle?

Or iPad, or phone....

I've just published an eBook on Amazon (for Kindle) and at Smashwords (for Sony readers, Palms, etc.). You can also read it online at Smashwords.com if you don't use one of these devices.

It's a murder mystery set in west Texas (sorry NO chip content at all grin ).

Buddy Griffin, a recently retired homicide detective, returns to his hometown of Elmore, Texas to attend a high-school reunion and becomes embroiled in a murder investigation when his high school sweetheart finds her husband, the president of the local bank, shot dead in their swimming pool.

Rumors of the dead man’s infidelities lead Buddy to a missing female bank teller and a safe deposit box full of dirty money linked to the local mob. As he digs deeper, Buddy discovers the real motive for the murder may stem from a struggle for control of a twenty-year-old videotape of a United States Senator with an underage pr0stitute.

You can download a free sample for your Kindle from Amazon or read the first half of the book at Smashwords before buying. And, if you decide to buy it's priced at 99 cents on both sites. grin

A printed version should be available within a few weeks too.
