Howdy's listing of the $5 orange baccarat was the chip last used by Riviera before they closed the baccarat tables. They were available from the cage up for a while after.

I haven't seen the $500 you show but it matches the design of the last issue and it was probably from the same series. It is oversize, isn't it? Not many collectors wanted the 500's off the tables twenty years ago, so the catalogers didn't include them. We're fortunate to have Paul Hegge who tries to photograph all the current high denomination chips for posterity.
