As some on this list know, I work in a casino. I usually get stuck flooring roulette tables. You would probably be surprised at the number of people who walk away from the table with the roulette chips, take them to the cage, and them sheepishly return to the table after they find out the chips have no value at any other place in the casino. Some of our cocktail servers found out the hard way about valueless roulette chips when a complete set of roulette chips were changed after the CM heard about cocktails hoarding chips for weekends.
