Can't remember what antique store I got this in, but it was about 3 years ago in Vegas. I've showed it to a few people and the only guess so far is that it was a toy name badge for kids. Certainly possible, but I don't think so. This name badge is fairly sturdy and looking at the back of it, there are two spring pinbacks. The top one is pointed and used for hanging from clothing. The bottom one is not pointed, which means it is used to suspend a ribbon, or slip of paper.

I'm hoping it might be a casino employee badge! Any ideas? You already have one tucked away in that display caes of yours?
