I have a couple of empty fishing boxes that are made to hold sinkers, flys, lures, hooks, etc. These come in a wide variety of sizes from 3" x 5" to 12" x 24". They are moulded plastic with attached lids & dividers, & are virtually crushproof. I use scrap carpet pad, cut up into small pieces, to prevent items from rolling around and being damaged. The best size is the 3" x 5". This size fits easily into a shirt pocket. These boxes are available at K-Mart or Walmart for about $1 each.
