I can see! I can SEE!! I CAN SEE!!!...

Nearly two weeks ago I made the mistake of removing my glasses while I was down on my hands and knees trying to plug the DVD into a tight spot behind the entertainment center. I distinctly remember telling myself to use caution in setting down the glasses, being extra carefull to NOT step on them when I finished the job.

Well who listens to me?!!!!!

That's right! DVD plays great, but was unable to watch, for nearly two weeks while I waited for a replacement pair (new Doc, new prescription, new everything). Well needless to say, while my distance vision is OK, I have not been able to read and my computer work is way down. Use of the cell phone was a problem (dialing from a memory list) and any detail work was out-of-the-question.

Anyway, the new glasses are fine, I need adjusting, and to prove it, I finished a framing job I had started a few weeks back, in preparation for my Convention Exhibit. I hope no one minds, but seeing that Mark T. finisihed up his frame job, I figured I'd show mine as well.

This frame and mat was salvaged from a garage sale ($2) and I opened it up, tossed the multi-media artwork (paper strips and bows) and replaced them with a full Win Cards set-up from the Four Queens.

While I'll be taking it to the Convention, it is now hanging along side an earlier framing I did with the Hard Rock Pink Taco coupon and chip. Framed are the 15 - 1 NCV chips, the 3 different Win Cards (blackjack, roulette and craps), the tri-fold folder that holds the 3 Win Cards and explains game play (a little) and last, but not least, the pink Dealer's Tip Coupon. By playing the coupon for the dealer, win or lose, the coupon is collected and if a win, the dealer gets $1.

I hope everyone likes it and thanks for looking!

Jim
