Make that S.F. Little history.
Mainly posting this info to get new collectors interested in Illegal chips and the history of their chips.
I've had the Mason record card on these for years but never had the chips until today.

Info dug out by a friend.
SF Little in 1940.
When Little ordered the chips he was operating a recreation club on the second floor
of 309 Browder (he was also a bookie). Never have figured out what significance, if any,
the initials had in relation to what Little was doing there. A few years after the order,
Little is working with James Worsham at the Maurice Hotel, so it's possible the chips
migrated with him.
For lack of a better name I am calling 309 Browder "Recreation Club" Many illegals did not have names.
Little's chips gets much better with James Worsham and the Maurice Hotel involved. I got the W and B in 2008.
Delivered 1940
James Worsham- Maurice Hotel-room 506-909 Main Street- Dallas, TX-opened in 1940.
Every chance in the world the B stands for Benny Binion.
Dallas Morning News December 1941.
Benny Binion, James Worsham, Maurice Hotel one of three main Binion illegals.
I have many chips from the Southland but I do not have any from The Bluebonnet.
History is not lost to us. It is out there.
A little piece of clay without history: Worthless!
