213 Area Code was split up years ago with a big part going to 818 and 213 remaining for the central LA area. Since then 213 and 818 have gone through splits. That "213" number may not have carried over to 818, but it might have. Give it a try. These also were spun-off of 213 or may have absorbed some 213 numbers: 310, 323, 562, 626, 424, and 661.
