To answer your question, it only takes finding one chip from Nevada that is worth a lot to pay for the book. This is true for any price guide. I keep an old copy of the TCR in each car. At least I know if that chip at an antique store is worth $3 or $300. Now all I gotta do is find that rack of $1 Floridian chips.
