Re: Yahoo Chip Auctions - Anyone Ever Look?

Pete,
Why not start listing yours on there? And whenever someone lists their auctions on Yahoo, drop a note on the board about your auctions (like you guys do when they're on ebay). All it takes is for people to start listing there and posting their auctions on the board. As far as I'm concerned, most of the poeple that auction off chips on ebay that ARE NOT regular contributors to the board are usually overcharging anyway. I've seen numerous auctions go with no opening bid and usually they're from people I've never heard of (e-mail addy's anyways). My main point is this: If people are like sheep, then why not go ahead and start something new? Especially if it's something that might be benificial to yourself and the other members of the organization. Who knows? If we get enough members posting there and they get enough complaints about their indexing, then maybe Yahoo might decide to listen. Besides, what have you really got to lose by trying it? If it doesn't sell on Yahoo in one week, post it on ebay, maybe that'll give people an incentive, albeit a small one, to check out your auctions on Yahoo.

Just my opinion (and Yes, I DO know the saying about opinions <G>)
