... straight. I expected better from you, Jim <g>. Nobody is holding anybody ramsom. PayPal allows you to "pay" someone without an account, but until the funds are collected, your account is not debited and you can cancel the transaction at any time. It's the payer in control, not the payee. Some people just don't know how to work this new fangled technology. I had one bidder who won one of my auctions email me to tell be it was OK for me to "bill" PayPal. I couldn't seem to explain to him he had to "send" the money, I couldn't "take" it. He finally sent me a check. My guess is the person who couldn't cancel their payment just couldn't figure out how to. Not PayPal's fault!
