They have changed the rules and to tell you the truth, I do not understand everthing I read.
I am pretty sure about the following:
You and the new person no longer get $5.00 for joining unless you are a Premier Account.
Premier means you are a business that does more than $500.00 in a 6 month period that entitles you to pay 1.9% of the amount. This is a chaeper rate than any individual will be able to obtain and have no monthly fees.

I have balances when they reach > $100.00 to my Bank account and it takes 3 -4 days.

I feel a little cheated in that their original advertising said always free; but for the service I guess it is worth it.

I got $500.00 from a zero feedback person in 24 hours with PAYPAL last week on a laptop I sold. I felt a lot better about the sale.

Yes, It is not for everyone but 3.5 million people in a year says something.
