But...the trade sessions have completely changed, especially last year. It use to be that after that 1st night banquet there would be a hundred people with their binders out on the tables trading - rolling suitcases full of chips were common and it would go until close to midnight - that was a regular occurring thing. Last year, I'd say there were five to ten people in the trade room after the banquet - I went out and looked in other rooms thinking I was missing the "real" trade room. ... (alan stanwyck)
Since the trade sessions are now held all day on Wednesday (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) before the banquet most folks had their fill of trading after the banquet and do other things in town. BTW: To attend this year's trading sessions on Wednesday you must be a club member and have pre-registered before the deadline (which I believe has passed).
