Steven, no it is not a normal thing. However the only strikes that bring a real value are strikes that are coin aligned or 180 degrees rotated. I have around 80 strikes that I have picked up over the years with different degrees of rotation from 7 1/2 degrees to 180 degrees. Some are rotated left and other are rotated to the right. Yours I would say rotating to the left. Right now the guide values are $10 - $13. To the right person yours is worth a bit more but as it is not listed in the guide book a lot of collectors will not be interested. Guide book is sort of a check list to most.
