This check was written so the Hotel El Rancho Vegas would have more cash on hand being for New Years Eve 1951 (notice the check was paid on the same day).

Cash Exchange would mean they were writing the check to the bank for cash.

The other thing I noticed is this check is not from their "Account Payable Account" I have a few of the checks that were used in paying out vendors and other people and these are not the same checks.

Last thing....the check by the above the signature is Exchange Account, not General Account that paid the vendors.

It's a neat piece of History.
