The trade sessions are for trading chips & tokens & other casino collectibles, but NOT in exchange for cash (or for current South Point rack chips, which are the same as cash.)

The reason for this is that the dealers on the convention floor pay for their tables in exchange for the privilege of selling their stuff for cash. If the trade sessions allowed cash transactions, there would be little incentive to pay for a dealer table.

Bring your cash to the show floor and you will find LOTS of stuff to buy.

(BTW, I'm not a dealer, but I appreciate all the stuff they bring to the show floor for us to look at ... and buy.)
