If you are only choosing between those two, Kaspersky would be my choice. Norton is now so bloated, it is like a virus itself and uses a LOT of your machines resources. Once you install it, there is no uninstalling it by yourself unless you know how to get into the registry to remove all traces. I had to hire a computer person to get it off my computer.
