After I mentioned that the other day I messed around with a few old chips. It's not easy. You would need equipment similar to a hot stamping set-up. If someone wanted to make make their chips different or distinctive they could but, like Gene said, who would bother. His chip just looked to me as though the design had been stamped in. It just might be a mold type for all I know, and I'll probably never know for sure
