With those terms one would most likely need additional terms to project a clear visualization since a C&S is also a "die-cut" inlay (though that inlay is a litho). But by listing "plain inlay" simply says a plain piece of inlay material w/o any graphics; yey still die-cut and placed in the center of the slug which could be round or being a numeral, monogram or an apple (or even a banana). vbg

I always understood the term "mold" to be ~~~
1: Diecut; 2,3,& 4: reverse die-cuts
