This is a free download and I use it for all of my pics for email and the chipboard. The new digital cameras are producing such high quality photos that they are hard to send in quantity to anyone. I have yet to see any noticeable deterioration in the photos once re sized. Also, this will let you post more than one photo on craigslist.org due to their size. I really hope this helps. I have not received any spam or followup junk emails since I downloaded the program so it is pretty straight forward.
