First, I'd like to say, nothing I might say or have said about the current magazine is meant to be in any way negative about the previous editors of the magazine. Volunteers who work hard to do the best they can for the hobby and the good of the membership should always be commended. Were I to be given the task of putting out the club magazine, it would probably be about a 4 page bulletin, and late. But the fact of the matter is, some real profesional people with real publishing skills and knowledge have stepped up to the plate and the club and hobby are better off for it. A quality magazine will keep members interested, keep the dues coming in, and encourage more people to join. The magazine and convention are the two most tangible benefits of membership, and both are absolutely first rate. I say let the people doing the job decide how it should be done and give them your unwaivering support. A first class magazine is the hallmark of a first class club. Thanks again, John and Allan, and everyone who contributed to this outstanding publication!
