More advice about getting your extra...
...stuff home. You
will leave the convention will more stuff than you brought with you to Las Vegas, other than chips. I always end up with shirts, hats, ashtrays and other souvenirs that won't fit into my luggage. In the past, I've packed a fold-up duffel bag in my checked luggage for the extra stuff as an additional checked bag for the return flight, but since most airlines are now charging extra fees for luggage, budgeting a little extra time for a stop at a UPS Store on the way to the airport to pack and ship your extra goodies to yourself is a viable alternative.
As Debby alluded to, chips and tokens should always be in your carry on luggage. It will cause extra screening at airport security (they'll want to look inside that bag because a tube or rack of chips looks like possible solid explosives on the x-ray screen), but you're much better off having those items within arm's reach than sitting in (or being "lost" on the way to or from) the airplane cargo hold.
