When I was a kid growing up (yeah we had television then) the Series games were in the day time--and we all listened; in school or out. I remember a radio out at football practice. But now that the world is run by TV and ad agencies we have to have the games at a time when someone has determined has the greatest audience--and because no one lives in the northeast anymore we go by PDT time. So kids like Neal and probably Marty and old farts like me who live in the east either miss the games or their bed times. I say it's criminal. I wouldn't be surprised if the next war is offered up for sale to the networks and then we'll only have bombings and shootings between 5 and 9 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time.
