Must make it really difficult to pitch if you can't throw the ball. Not to mention when was the last time you saw a batter hit the ball, gently place the bat on the ground and then run the bases.

If Piazza was not anywhere near where the bat was thrown by Clemens would you still think he should be thrown out of the game?
