I have seen the re-play about 10 times & it was not that close ONLY because Piazza had slowed down & happened to look over. If you watch it again, try to imagine Piazza still looking forward & running. He WOULD have been hit. I think you are downplaying how it really looked on the re-play. Anyone else see the re-play that is not a die hard Yankees fan without a clear head? <G>

As for "Maybe Roger is smarter than all of us." Not likely.......He has a gift & is a great pitcher. As for smart, I don't think so...........
