Just after WWII there were several casinos that opened in the Alps area on the Italian/French border to compete with France... All sorts of licenses and authorizations had been issued; possibly to some Chicago groups and a few folks from Miami, but within a few months most had been shut down by the central government... There's been some unidentified European-style material found in Chicago 20-30 years ago as well as some stuff being found in the Miami area; just trying to connect loose ends and perhaps ID some stuff if at all possible.
