I hope you do learn to post pictures...sharing your collection with other collectors is really fun! (And it gives a nice break to non-collecting friends and family members, who usually say things like "You paid HOW much for that ashtray...???!!" or you show them a Ta-Neva-Ho chip and they say "Oh. Are you going to take it back to the casino the next time you go to Las Vegas?" )
I'm glad you've enjoyed the posts . I'll be putting the last of them on the board within the next hour or so. I figure Mr. Splashbar is due back from vacation soon...hopefully he'll resume his chip posts...
As for posting pictures, there's 2 choices (that I'm aware of). I use imageshack to upload my photos/scans, then just copy and paste the urls (there are other free sites, too, like photobucket).
The other option is to upload photos to the chipboard server (follow the instructions under "file upload" at the top of the chipboard pages). The drawback to that is the file size is limited...so either scan at a lower resolution or resize your pictures. Also, if I understand right, our host Brian Watts pays for the chipboard...including the space occupied by our photos, therefore after about 3 weeks the photos uploaded to the chipboard server will "disappear". If you want to keep showing the same picture, you'll have to upload it again.
Please learn how...so we can see your stuff!!
