BTW.... Im glad I got this shot one month ago, because when I was there Wednesday, they had torn out all the white fronting & shutters to just to the left of the T in tropicana, and the majority of the ornate ceiling under the driveway has been torn out.

I guess theres two good points.... its a renovation not a implosion, and the now classic roman style neon logo will be saved by the neon museum (so I was told anyway- the streetside marquee on the north side was destroyed a few weeks ago.)
