I'll be at the South Point Wednesday night through Thursday afternoon, a little free time before I go to work at the Speedway Friday-Sunday. I haven't been told where I'll be staying Thursday night through Monday afternoon. I've lobbied for the Strat or the Riv, but since I won't be paying for it, it isn't my choice. The guy writing the checks wants something closer to the track like the cluster of hotels on Craig Road @ I-15 around the Cannery. I should find out before I get there, but maybe not. It usually doesn't matter for national events because I get picked up at the airport and don't have to worry about transportation or lodging, but Vegas is a little bit different.
