I'll be accused of heresy against this antiquated WebBBS system, but change to something more modern with passwords, a minimum number of replies before someone has posting access, email verification for new accounts and a few other spam protections and you won't need multiple people on call, removing what the SpamBots spew on the BB.

Archive the old message base, and start fresh with something that has better protection.
