Some great stuff there Pam ... Thanks!
I was still in high school back in 1963.
I know this isn't related to the topic, but what I remember most from back then was JFK's assassination in November of '63.
When learning about it during class in the morning, the first thing some of us did when break came was to lead a bunch of other students to a nearby church, to pray for him, his family, and our hurting Nation.
But we were cut-off by the principal before we could leave the campus, pulling me aside, threatening me with insighting a riot, if you can believe that!!?!!
They called the local police, telling me that if I didn't stop leading the other students to the church, I would be arrested, and expelled from school.
Needless to say, we never made it to that church ... during school time anyway.
As for this great post, some really great stuff there, Pam.
Thanks again!
