Several years ago there was a thread about the lack or renewals, and a few of us asked that the membership officer send us a printout of those past members' contact information. I personally handled those who did not renew being from Florida... and have posted those responses by ex-members as to why they no longer wished to be part of the club (but have remained VERY ACTIVE in the hobby; forming huge following and supplying the hobby with a ton of material of interest to many collectors; continue to be very active in trading and attending functions where they meet up with other chippers... Never, once, was there a reason of not renewing having to do with the $20 (at that time)... and as I noted this exactly in past threads, the term most often used for not renewing membership was the "bickeing" going on.
