Of course the loss of American jobs is reason for concern, but at the same time, Ford was the only company in the Big 3 that didn't receive a (failed) bailout and subsequent taxpayer funded US government (at least partial) ownership takeover. From what I've read, the Mexican auto industry in total employs about 500,000 workers. Any industry in that country that puts people to work has to have a positive affect on reducing border crossings, and half a million is a significant number.

It isn't just the INS refusing to do everything they should be doing, it is sanctuary cities that prohibit law enforcement agencies at every level from questioning the citizen status of people they encounter here actually committing crimes, even after they've been jailed (then released) for some of those crimes. That is insane!

I'm very aware of Mexico's laws concerning immigration, legal and illegal, and you're right. It is hypocritical especially where they all but deliver the illegals to the border.
