~~~ their benefits they'll not only forget how this bill was passed; they will care less -- just as those who now receive their Social Security monthly checks or their Medicare benefits are not interested in anything other than the benefits they have received... I doubt anyone who either benefits from Medicare of receives a SS check runs to the web to search how it became law and why it benefits them or while in the hospital and ready to be operated on is overly concerned with the way their benefits were made possible. They are just content (except for a few, that is). It's not easy to take a benefit away from the people once it is given... But I do wish those who think they can, do try.
