Lots of people have paid into it so others have a supplement added on to their income to better allow meeting living/health expenses... Some folks paid into that pool their whole life never to see a dime of it in return... Now, the gig is running into a problem; will you be willing to return your check each month in order to add it to the fund so others who will outlive you may enjoy the same benefit you've been enjoying; or will you rather see an increase in contributions to the pool so you may continue to be a socialist in these United Socialist of America...?
