Let's see if I have this correct. A collector travels all the way from Maryland to attend the club convention ...
the largest casino collectibles convention in the entire world ... after paying hundreds of dollars in airfare, food and lodging ... and objects to paying a $10 admission fee? These annual events are expensive to put on and would be even more expensive to conduct if the club was not blessed with so many volunteers willing to give up their time for free. The convention is more than just a "chip show" or a "club meeting". The days of totally FREE admission CC & GTCC conventions are long gone. As the Smith's have indicated ... all day Saturday is free for those locals who may be reluctant to pay the reasonable $10 admission fee.
Just one man's opinion.
