From San Francisco, go north across the Golden Gate Bridge to San Rafael (better call first, its a small place), more small places are in American Canyon (Napa Valley Card Room), Antioch (Kellys and 19th Hole), Pacheco (California Grand).

You can go south to San Jose to Bay 101 and Garden City, which are large card rooms.

In Southern California, from Fullerton you can go east to the Indian Casinos which are an hour away. San Manuel in Highland, Casino Morongo in Cabazon. Palm Springs is an hour and a half to two hours, Spa Casino and in Indio, Spothlight 29 and Fantasy Springs.
