I recently won this set on eBay. For being 60 years old, they are in outstanding condition. The cross hatching can still be seen on most of the chips and all the chips I have tried still stand on edge.

Thanks to David S. for letting me know that these were picked up in 1941 by Paul McDonald. I haven't had any more luck finding out about the chips.

The case is very cool and is what this set a "must have" for me. The monogramed "N" on the case is exactly the same as the one found on all the chips. The case is made of wood and wrapped in leather. The tray the chips rest in is removable.

Approx. 20 of the original 500 chips ordered are missing, but again, considering the age of the set, I am ok with it.
