The chips from Russia arrived today and the scan below shows what I have available. They range in price from $3 to $10 each except for the Light Blue one in the first row with all of the writing. That is a NCV chip you get after paying the entrance fee of $40 and the cost on it is $25. Here is the story on these chips.
The first row is from the Korona Club in Moscow where you have to pay $40 just to get in. The 1 and 5 denominations are on the back of the chips.
The second row is from the Panda Club in St. Petersburg. There is a $5, a generic $2.50 and $1 and $ .50 Jetons. The jetons have some wear on them. I think that I now have more chips than they do. There was only one BJ table and the rack was about 15% full of chips. They even tried to stop me from leaving the first night since I still had chips. I just told them that I would be back tomorrow.
The third row is from the Alexander Blok "riverboat" in Moscow. I was there during the day and the casino is about as large as my master bedroom. Had 2 roulettes, 2 BJ and 2 Oasis poker tables and ONE slot machine. You had to register to get in but I don't think that they charged admission for the casino. If you wanted to go to the restaurant they charged admission for that!
There is a $1, 5 and 2.50 chip.
The fourth row is from Beverly Hills casino which must have something to do with Chuck Norris since his (ugly)picture is on the back of all of the chips. I was there in the late afternoon and was the only person in the 300 sq. Ft. casino. The two denominations available are 25 and 100.
The fifth row is from the Metilista Casino in Moscow even though the chips say Cherry International. This is another one of the casinos where you can pay $40 to get in or you can go to the Sports Bar which has a few tables. I tried to go back a second time on our last day there but got rained out. The denominations available are $5, $25 and $50. But they still cost under $10 each.
The sixth row is from the Premier Casino in St. Petersburg. I think that is the place where I ran into the Mafia guy and got the free taxi ride home. I only have the 100 chip for sale.
The seventh row is from the Taleon Casino in St. Petersburg. This was a very classy casino on one of the canals but again I was the only person in the whole place. I only have the $5 chip from there.
There are also three different slot tokens which are about the size of a quarter. They come from slot parlors near the casinos. They are $1.00 each if you want one.
