I was surprised to see that Lake Meade was down back then. Not as much as now, but certainly a fair amount. Between then and now it was back to higher levels, so it tends to bear out the cyclic nature of nature.

It was also nice to see the brief moments inside Hoover Dam (Boulder Dam) which were part of the public tour at one time (I remember going inside) and has since been eliminated.

I had forgotten about the rotating (merry-go-round) signage for Circus-Circus.

Given the look of the bride, it was not surprising to see they had a VW bug!
