I have yet to read Archie's post as it is a long one but before I do, I can only say that I agree with you completely. To have something literally shoved down our throats which I believe the majority of people don't want is despicable.
Frankly, I fall into the category of people, the major category might I add who has not read the bill or for that matter would understand it with all the legal jargon anyway.
If what I read was true, that being that once this goes into law it can NOT be challanged in the courts, that alone scares me.
All I know is that this has never worked in any other country and it won't work here. As has been said before, show me one thing the government has been able to run sucessfully.
