I too am a packrat collecting just about anything that will hold still long enough for me to pick it up. I think though you might agree that even with some of the commemorative stamps you accumulated, some are worth considerably more than others i.e. certain souvenier sheets etc.
As far as casino commemoratives which are issued in relatively small numbers compared to other items such as stamps, coins, ashtrays and icemachines, it seems as the hobby seems to be picking up steam, and the amount of chip collectors increases there actually looms the possibility that some of these chips will have other uses than tying them to your garden plants <g>
