mailing chips in bubble mailers.
More in the never ending saga of mailing chips. I went to my local P.O. this morning to mail a single chip in a flip enclosed in a #000 bubble mailer. The clerk tried to pass it through a gage for a 1/4" letter, it wouldn'i quite fit. So the clerk was going to charge me $1.22 until I brought it to his attention that I had mailed many here in the past and it was only $.88. He asked another clerk and she said mail it as a large envelope only $.88. I know many of you are still in a battle with your local Post Office so the solution seems to be large envelope lower costs. I realize this may not be the solution for some as the average Postal Worker is under to much stress to think outside the box. Poor dears, like the rest of us are not under any stress. (DEMAND $.88 and run!!!!)
