Elections for CCGTCC officers seem like a far way away but now is the time to look at announced candidates and determine who will best lead our fantastic group of chippers into the future. I believe the position most demanding of one's time is the membership chairman. Jim is giving up this position, one in which he has done an admirable job for many years, for bigger things. One person has spoken to me and several of you as wanting to do this volunteer job as membership chairman. He is Ralph Myers, a very unselfish man, partially retired, and devoted chip collector who has expressed his interest in the position. The name Myers is bigger than Gore or Bush, it has five letters in it. Seriously, Ralph Myers is a true devotee to this hobby and deserves your consideration for the membership chair position.
