Our only power is to vote the bad apples out. Fortunately I think that will happen this year. With any luck it will happen again in 2012, 2014, 2016.... for every politician that plays politics as usual. Unfortunately this will require the American people to care as much (or more) about who gets elected than who's in the SuperBowl.
