Hello all! I just wanted to drop by and introduce myself. My name is Mack and I'm a new chip collector from Ohio. A few years ago I was given a casino chip and I put it in a drawer of nick-nack type things that I liked. From time to time I'd go through the door and would regularly come to the chip. The past couple of weeks I decided to dive in because I found casino chips oddly compelling. I love the history of the industry and like Vegas (though I've yet to go). Currently I collect things that I like and that have a defined set, like $5 LEs. I thought I would ask to see if anyone has any tips for new collectors, how to avoid pitfalls, how to generate trading stock etc... Any advice would be appreciated.
