Subsidizing horse race tracks that can't make it on their own.
The casinos are no longer cash cows to the State of NJ that they once were. I don't see long lines of investors looking to get into this cut-throat business. Using your logic, all it should take is for one A.C. property to begin offering similar come-on deals that you've received and all will be honky-dory again at 'Las Vegas By-The-Sea'.
Installing slot machines in the state's Horse race tracks won't make it any better in A.C. ... but it would make it easier for locals around the state to play the slots. That's not what the NJ voters approved back in 1976.
